Ph.D. Research (Apr. 2024 ~ Present)

  • Extended the number of coaxial cables from the M.Sc. Research’s setup.
  • Implemented the pulse picking technique to extend the measurement time available for time-resolved measurements.
  • Invented the semiconductor etching technique to introduce wide-range confinement potential to GaAs/AlGaAs devices.
  • Challenging observation of expanding quantum Hall edges to explore analog 1+1 dim. expanding spacetime linking condensed matter physics and general relativity, which may enable us to obtain clues on quantum gravity.

M.Sc. Resarch (Apr. 2022 ~ Mar. 2024)

  • Developed and operated an ultrafast spectroscopic measurement system using a dilution refrigerator (~40 mK) and a superconducting magnet (magnetic fields >10 T).
  • Visualized time- and space-resolved dynamics in quantum Hall systems using a custom confocal microscope, which captured path-controlled edges for the first time ever.
  • Fabricated GaAs/AlGaAs devices using semiconductor processing techniques, e.g., photolithography, wet etching, ohmic contact annealing, and thermal deposition.
  • Designed high-frequency PCBs (up to 10 GHz) using AutoCAD and SonnetLite for impedance matching.
